National Print Awards Printing Industries Association of Australia

About us

The National Print Awards – Recognising the Achievement of Excellence.

Since the National Print Awards were established in 1984, the print and communications landscape has changed almost beyond recognition. Yet print continues to be an effective and much-loved medium which communicates, influences, informs, enhances and inspires.

For well over 30 years, the National Print Awards has been setting the benchmarks for excellence in print in Australia, with the achievement of a Gold Medal a confirmation of achievement to the highest national – and, indeed, international – standards, and the ultimate accolade the industry can bestow.

While much has changed, the importance of striving for excellence remains as vital as ever as print continues to chart exciting new frontiers, enhance the value and effectiveness of communications, and play a fundamentally important role in so many aspects of our lives.

Today, the Awards are run under the auspices of Printing Industries, an independent, specialist member-based not-for-profit national organisation representing businesses in the imaging and communication sectors, including print, prepress and design, publishing, distribution, software and hardware, paper and paper board, print consumables, packaging and flexible packaging, paper converting, binding and finishing, communication and marketing media services.

The National Print Awards encompasses the diverse range of work these print service professionals produce, encouraging, recognising and celebrating not only their achievements, but the dedication, creativity, energy and inspiration which lies behind these outstanding results.
